1.1 Starting AlbumDIY 

If you have accepted the default options in the installation process, you can start AlbumDIY by using the following method:

1)Go to Start, Programs and Visimon Ltd
2)Click AlbumDIY
1.2 Welcome to AlbumDIY

Select a language then click the icon "Create a new Album".

1.3 New Album Wizard-Step1

Here you can set cover properties such as: 3D-Like, Left border, Cover texture. You can save the cover scheme by clicking on Add to my favorite.

1.4 New Album Wizard-Step2

On this window you can add text and clipart to your album cover.

1.5 New Album Wizard-Step3

Here you can set page color, and texture, and you can select a page border.

Please select "Add image from a select folder", then click "Finish".

1.6 New Album Wizard-Step4

Select the images you want in your photo album and then click "ok".

1.7 Browse your album

Now you can use menus, toolbars and hot keys to browse your album and personalise it. Add borders to the photos; re-size or rotate them; add special effects.

1.8 Build/Distribute Album

AlbumDIY creates a number of different files while you build your album and it would be tedious to have to send all these files when you wanted to distribute a copy of your album to family or a friend. Album make distribution easy by building your album into a single, highly compressed , self-extracting album (*.exe). Recipients of this executable file don't need a copy of AlbumDIY to see your pictures.

Step1:Save your album Step2:Build/Distribute Album...

Warning: Some viruses are distributed as executable (.EXE) files. For this reason many people don’t like to open executable files attached to e-mails without some additional confirmation. Indeed some e-mail software, as a default, prevents the recipient from opening attachments which have an .exe filename extension. You might therefore consider adding a paragraph in your e-mail that re-assures the recipient that the executable attachment is safe to open.

2 Make the album more cool

You have created your first album use the "New Album Wizard" ,your can make the album more cool and fashion by modify the properties of the album. Double click on the object (or right click on the object then select 'properties ',or click on the object then use menu 'View/properties') you can open properties dialogs. Properties dialogs include: cover, page, text, picture, musical, clipart.

2.4 Select your favorite pictures

You can use this dialog input :left border, texture, clipart, picture frame ... 

2.4.1 Build-in resource

When you install AlbumDIY system will auto install some picture in your hard disk.

2.4.2 Search in local disk

Click on the search button AlbumDIY will auto search pictures in your local hard disk.

2.4.3 Specify a directory

You can specify a directory to input pictures.

2.4.4 My favorite pictures

When you select "Specify a directory" or "Search in local disk", double click on the picture ,it will copy to the favorite directory.

2.5 Use edit menu

Use this menu you can delete, copy, paste objects and page.

2.6 Use insert menu

Use this menu to insert new text, object, picture ,sound or page.

2.7 Download Art Plug-in

Select "Help/Download Art Plug-in..." to download Art Plug-in from our web site, it will make your Album more cool. Art Plug-in include many new and fashion frames, masks designed by our artists. Download art plug-in from our web, then run the downloaded file, when you run AlbumDIY next time you will find there are some new pictures in the 'Build-in resource'.
